| Valerie Garlick is a video artist and photographer working with artifacts of desire and media. She has exhibited her work in solo and group exhibitions nationally, including Boxing Gloves and Bustiers, Soho20, NYC; Archaeology of Wonder, Real Art Ways, Connecticut, and 300, The Fuel Collection, Philadelphia. Her work has also been screened internationally, most recently as part of Hotch Potch in Oslo and London; Taboo, Cologne New Media Fest traveling exhibition; and the 2009 Kurye International Video Festival, Istanbul. Valerie received her MFA from the University of Connecticut in 2008 and her BA from Central Connecticut State University in 2006. She currently lives and works in New York, New York and is Assistant Editor of Vector Productions Inc. (www.vector.bz). |
